The Rural Ministry in the Galician Regional Government, Consellería de Medio Rural, makes sure that the presentation of all the contents and essential functionality of this website be independent from the physical devices and Internet browsers that are used with this aim in mind, and accessible to all browsers specially people with disabilities, sensory, motor or cognitive limitations.

The accessibility policy applied by the Galician Regional Authority, Xunta de Galicia, is in accordance with the requirements of the Royal Decree 1494/2007, from November 12th, which passes the Regulations about the basic conditions so that people with disabilities can access to information and communication technologies as well as the products and services related to information society and social media.

After the decision that was taken in the Cabinet Meeting, on March 25th, 2002, the European Union encourages the Member States to take into account the need for the digital contents to be accessible and,  following this recommendation, the Law 34/2002, from July 11th, which deals with the services for information society and electronic commerce, stipulates that the Civil Services will have to adopt the necessary measures so that the information contained in their websites be accessible to people with disabilities and the elderly , in accordance with the content accessibility criteria which were generally recognized, before December 31st, 2005.

In line with this objective, this website has been designed following the accessibility recommendations within the first level of priority in WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) guidelines of the W3C.

The Rural Ministry in the Galician Government, Consellería de Medio Rural, encourages citizenship to notify the difficulties they might have had in order to improve this website accessibility continuously.
